[Rcopia4] Resetting Your EPCS Passphrase in DrFirst

With Rcopia4, resetting the EPCS Passphrase is performed externally to ICANotes. To start the reset, visit this link in your web browser.

Click the Forgot Password option

Enter your NPI and S/N or Credential ID. This may be shown as S/N on the back of the key fob token (hard token), or as Credential ID on the VIP Access phone app (soft token). Then click Next Step.

The token matching the Credential ID will be displayed in the Select Token dropdown. Enter your EPCS registered email followed by the OTP (One Time Pin, the six-digit number on the front display of your hard or soft token). Then click Continue.

You’ll see a notification that an email has been sent to your EPCS registered account. Click Done, then check your inbox.

Your email will look similar to this:

Click on the Reset Passphrase Link to continue.

On the Reset Passphrase page, enter your NPI and the Credential ID from your token

Select the appropriate token from the dropdown field, followed by the OTP (One Time Pin) from your token’s display. Then click Continue.

Next, you’ll be prompted to provide the Answer to your Security Question. This is a Security Question and Answer created during the IDP (Identity Proofing) process. Then click Continue.

In the next screen, you’ll be prompted to enter a new passphrase. Save your changes and return to ICANotes. You can now continue prescribing with your updated passphrase in ICANotes/Rcopia4.  No logout from ICANotes is required (however if you do, use the pink Log Off button in the Chart Room to properly close your ICANotes session).
