- Quick Add a Medication
Once the Quick Add feature is enabled within the Settings by an administrator, users will be able to add medications to the active medication list without entering medication details.
Turn on Quick Add Feature
1. Click on the menu list and choose Settings from the dropdown menu.


2. Click Preferences to set the ICANotes
options for your location.
3. Enable "Quick Add" without medication details.
a. Click Medication on the left side.


b. Click on Enable "Quick Add" without medication details.

c. Click on Save.
4. To return to the Patient Info Screen, click the patient's name in the context bar (next to the Create New Prescription button).
Quick Add a Medication
1. To Quick Add a medication to the Active Medication list, click on the Add Medication button.
2. Search for the desired medication.
3. Once the results display, click on the + icon on the right-hand side of the desired medication.
4. This will quickly add the medication to the Active Medications list without any details and bypass the sig screen.
