How to Locate a Chart

Locating a Patient Chart in ICANotes

From the main ICANotes Chart Room, look for the two Filing Cabinets on the left where you will find patient charts organized alphabetically (A-C, D-F, etc.). After you click on a drawer label, the names of patient charts stored in that drawer will display in the middle of the screen, in alphabetical order by last name. You can then scroll to the patient name whose chart you are looking for and click on the name to open the patient’s Chart Face.

Alternatively, you may narrow the list to only your charts by clicking on the Screenshot for How to Locate a Chart  option above the boxes on the left, or simply search for a patient by Name or ID by typing into the Screenshot for How to Locate a Chart  field and hitting Screenshot for How to Locate a Chart . Additionally, hitting the Last Chart button Screenshot for How to Locate a Chart takes you right to the last patient you have visited, if you have visited a patient's chart in your current ICANotes session!
