How to Upload/Set a Patient Chart Photo

To see what images are supported for photos on the patient's chart, follow these instructions.

1. From the Chart Room, find the patient. 

2. On the Chart Face, click the Photo button in the top middle.

3. A popup window will populate telling you which files can be used. This popup window also explains how to put the photo on the chart.

Posting a Patient Photo on the Chart Face


1. Go to https://upload.icanotes.com using your ICANotes username and password, then click the blue Sign In button.

2. Search for the patient and upload the photo to the "photos" category. Please note that the supported file types are listed here as well. This pertains to any documents that will be uploaded.

3. From the Chart Room, locate the patient's chart and open it.


4. Click on the "Documents" tab at the top.

5. Locate the photo that was uploaded. You can filter your results by selecting the Photos folder.


6. Click on the  text,


7. Your patient photo will now appear at the top of the patient's Chart Face.

8. Click on the image to view a larger picture of the patient in a separate window.
