Adding an Addendum to a Note

A finished Progress Note can be modified to include an addendum, even if the note has already been finished/compiled. From the client’s Chart Face, locate the note to be modified, then click to enter the Work Areas

In the Work Areas, use available shrub content, custom buttons, or free-text as needed to modify the note as necessary.

From the Finished Note screen, all changes made to the note are displayed in the note preview on the left. On the right, the note can be electronically signed a second time by clicking to Electronically Sign and Lock this Note

Doing so permits you to compare the two versions of the electronically-signed note. Click the checkboxes next to each digital signature, then click to Compare 2 Esigned Notes

You can now visually compare each version of the note to see what was deleted (highlighted in red) and/or what was added (highlighted in green)

When you've finished reviewing, click the Close button to return to the compiled note
