When an office comment is entered into a new eRx prescribed via DrFirst, that comment will return to ICANotes and will be included within the Medication Log.
In the Prescribe Medication widget, office comments can be entered toward the bottom of the widget in the “Comments for Office Use Only” field
Review the prescription and send it as appropriate. While the office comment will not be visible within the Review Prescription widget





You will see the office comment in the “Notes” section of the pending eRx
And in the Medication widget once active
Return to ICANotes and your note. While the office comment will not be visible within the medication work areas of the note, the compiled note, or from the Chart Face, the note will be seen in the Medication Log:
Note: It’s a good idea to be cognizant of the length of the office comment so that the text is not cut off within the log. However, the full comment should be visible when the Log is printed:
