Access Managed Care Authorizations from the Chart Face. 

This is the Managed Care Monitor. The alert threshold area is boxed in red.

If "Send Alert message when Threshold is reached" is checked (on the Managed Care Monitor window, then the system will put together the alert and send it to either: (1) the name(s) selected for that authorization - screenshot above shows Ana Castillo will receive alert (2) if no name is selected it goes to all the assigned providers for that patient UNLESS (3) someone is set as the Default Alert Recipient on the       A. Settings & Directories       B. Group Level Settings & Directories tab      C. MCM Auth tab      D. Default Alert Recipient field     Screenshot for Managed Care Authorization Alert Workflow     If you wish to use the feature that sends the alert when a threshold is reached, then please do one of two things: either go to Settings & Directories MCM Auth tab and select a name for the Default Alert Recipient OR always put a recipient name in when setting up the Managed Care Monitor window.     If you really don't want anyone getting an alert, please uncheck the "Send Alert message when Threshold is reached" box when setting up the authorizations.   Screenshot for Managed Care Authorization Alert Workflow
