How To Enable Telehealth For A User

These instructions apply only to groups that already have the Telehealth feature enabled for the practice. If you would like to have this feature enabled, please fill out our Telehealth Activation Request Form.

A Security Administrator can enable any user in their practice for Telehealth in the Security Center.

From the Chart Room:

Chart Room (Classic):  

Chart Room (New Layout):

1. Click On the Security Center button toward the bottom left of the window. 

2. Enter your ICANotes password.

3. Click OK.

4. Select the user you want to Enable Telehealth for and click on the Edit button for that user

5. Click on the button 'Activate Telehealth for User'.

6. You will encounter a notice of the charges associated with this service. In order to activate the service for the user, you must click Yes to enable the user

7. You will encounter a notice that the user has been enabled for Telehealth. Click OK.

8. You will see the button change wording and you will see just below the button that the user's status is now Activated.

9. Click Back to return to the Security Center.

10. The user is now enabled for Telehealth! You will see that there is now a green circle with a check next to their name in the Security Center.

11. Click on Settings & Directories to exit the Security Center.
