If a user's account needs to be disabled, this can be done by a security administrator. You will not be able to permanently delete a user record because deleted accounts may cause issues with patient records.
1. From the Chart Room:
2. Create a supervisor for the user so that there will be access to that person's work areas for billing, claims, notes, etc. This can be done by:
a. Select the user's name (the one you would like to disable) on the left in Settings + Directories.
b. Under Supervisor(s) in the top right of the window, click on for the "Choose Clinician" pop-up window.
c. Find the user who will be the supervisor and click the user's name.
d. Once a name has been populated in the field, click the button.
e. This will add the user as a supervisor.
f. You can add as many supervisors as needed by following steps b through e.
3. From Settings + Directories, go into the Security Center by clicking the button.
4. You will need to enter your ICANotes password for verification.
