To start, check the Settings in your Personal Preferences.
In Preferences, navigate to the Revenue Cycle Management tab and click into the Invoice and Superbill section. Click to Enable for diagnoses codes to be visible.
From within the work areas of your progress note you will have the option to Generate Invoice once a service code and charge amount have been selected.
You'll receive a prompt notifying you the invoice has been generated. A superbill is also generated at this time. Click to View Invoice or View Superbill when prompted. You may Close to return to the work areas of your progress note.
Invoices and Superbills are accessible from the Account button of the client chart. Click to expand the Invoicing section to view all Invoices & Superbills. Open a superbill or invoice by clicking on the blue text.
Once the invoice/superbill has loaded, you'll see icons to Print or Download.
An invoice will also present you with the ability to Request Payment from the client if you have our payment processing feature enabled. Learn more about that here.
A superbill will offer you the ability to insert your signature. Once signed, a PDF copy of the superbill will automatically download to your computer.
