Sending Multiple Documents via Kno2

For customers utilizing the Kno2 integration, we now offer the ability to send multiple files at once to a direct message address or fax. If your Kno2 integration has not yet been setup, please see our Knowledge Base or call Support at your earliest convenience.

Start by locating the patient’s chart and navigating to the Documents tab

In the Documents tab, use the checkboxes to select two or more documents. Once all desired selections are made, click to Send Selected Files.

Enter the Direct Address or Fax number of the intended recipient. If the contact is already stored in the External Provider directory – accessible to Group Administrators in the External Provider tab in group level Settings and Directories – click in the recipient (or “to”) field to drop down a list of available contacts.

All selected files will display in various areas of the Compose Message window. When ready, click to Send.

A brief Send File window will appear as the documents are sent.

The recipient will receive the selected documents in one message/fax.

What is a Direct Address?

Kno2 addresses are like email addresses and also serve as Direct addresses, but are used only in healthcare, and are used for sending and receiving informaiton to and from your organization to external organizations. Unlike a typical email address, a Kno2 address can be assigned at different levels.
