How to Pull Up Notes and Other Documents

On the main patient Chart Face, you will find a list of all of the notes, evaluations, form letters, custom forms and other documents that have been created in ICANotes for this patient, going in reverse chronological order (newest listed first), on the right-hand side.

Scroll down the list to find older notes. Click Show all in red to use the filtering options to filter documents by Note Type:

You may also access notes in PDF form via two methods

  • Using the Screenshot for Reviewing Notes and Other Documents tab found at the top of the patient’s Chart Face. When notes are compiled in ICANotes, they are automatically converted to PDFs at midnight that same day. Clicking the Documents tab allows you to view any notes created in ICANotes that have been converted to PDF, as well as any documents that have been uploaded to that patient’s chart. Like the main Chart Face, the Documents tab also has a filter, which will enable you to narrow your search: Screenshot for Reviewing Notes and Other Documents

  • From the ICANotes Upload Site. The ICANotes Upload Site, available from any web browser, allows you to scan external documents into ICANotes. Any existing documents found in the patient’s chart may be viewed, deleted, or saved to your local computer from the Upload Site. Just visit https://upload.icanotes.com/ to perform these actions.
