This article reviews how to send your client a portal invitation as well as practice forms/assessments during the chart creation process. This allows you to quickly create the client chart, invite them to the portal and send them the form/assessments you want them to complete all at once.
From the Chart Room select New Chart
Fill out client demographic information, paying special attention to Email Address, the client portal checkbox and the Form & Assessment Package dropdown menu.
First, enter the client's email address.
Note: This email address must be the client's unique email address. If the client's portal owner is someone other than the client, please follow these portal setup steps instead.
Next, check the box labeled Send client an email to set up their portal account. The client's email address is required when this box is checked.
If you'd like to also send the client forms/assessments to complete via the portal, select the appropriate Form & Assessment Package from the dropdown menu. If you have not set up a Form & Assessment Package, this guide will show you how.
When you've filled out all of the client's demographic information, click Create Chart.
If the checkbox was selected, the portal invitation email is sent to the email address entered for that client. If you also selected a Form & Assessment Package, a second email will be sent telling the client that there are documents ready for their attention.
