The vital signs window looks like this:

Fill in the fields by using the dropdown menu choices.

When done recording the vital signs, click the Screenshot for Recording Vital Signs button.

The vital signs will populate when you return to your progress note.

If you see a patient that had previously had vital signs recorded that day, the Screenshot for Recording Vital Signs button can be used to populate the recorded vital signs.

Clicking the Screenshot for Recording Vital Signs button will bring you to the Logs.

Vital Signs Log

To bring up this log for a patient, open up their Chart Face, and look for the Logs tab at the top, in the middle.
This will bring up the Logs area of ICANotes, but you'll need to look for the drop-down menu on the top-left and select "Vital Signs Log" from the list.

In the log itself, you can toggle on the left between Blood Pressure and VS/Weight logs, while on the right, you can switch between a line and bar graph.

Also note the Screenshot for Recording Vital Signs and Screenshot for Recording Vital Signs buttons to print the data.

You will be able to see the date and time the vital signs were entered along with the Note Owner.
