[Rcopia4] Include Do Not Fill Date When Downloading from DrFirst

When downloading e-prescribe data from DrFirst into a note, the Do Not Fill until date will be included in the description if prescribed. After the note is compiled the same Do Not Fill information will be visible within the note text and on the Chart Face. This applies to medications prescribed via iPrescribe as well.

When e-prescribing a controlled substance in DrFirst, you have the option to set a Do Not Fill (DNF) until date. To send the prescription to the pharmacy with a DNF date, use the "Do Not Fill Before" field to specify the date accordingly:

Finish the remainder of the prescription and click to Review.

The Do Not Fill date will be included in the Review Prescription widget

As well as in the Pending Prescriptions widget

After sending/printing the prescription, click to go Back to ICANotes and your note.

Once medication data has downloaded from DrFirst into ICANotes, you will see the medication along with the Do Not Fill date

The Do Not Fill date will be in the compiled note with the medication order

As well as visible from the patient’s Chart Face

And in the Medication Log
