How to Enable/Disable ePA in DrFirst

Go to DrFirst through ICANotes.

Click the menu icon at the top left of the page

From the dropdown menu, click to go to “Settings”

In Manage Settings, click “Location”

Please note that only individuals designated as administrators for DrFirst will see this option.

Scroll down to the “Patient Advisor” to locate “Enable electronic Prior Authorization (ePA)”

Click the  dropdown and change to , or vice versa for the opposite effect.

Scroll down to the bottom and click the “Save” button to save the change. 

No logout is required to see the changes, but you may need to exit DrFirst and load it again (via the Chart Room/Demographics/work areas).
