Quick Note

Quick Note

Changes to the Clinical Note Without Encounter - now the Quick Note - are outlined below for easy reference. Exceptions include notes created via iPrescribe and incoming lab results (for groups enabled with an integrated lab); these notes will still display as Clinical Note Without Encounter.   From the patient's chart face, the Clinical Note Without Encounter note now displays as Quick Note.    Screenshot for Quick Note   When a Quick Note is compiled, its default note title will be Quick Note. Users can change the default note title for the Quick Note - as well as several other note types - in the Options tab of Individual Settings and Directories.    Screenshot for Quick Note   The note title can be changed for a specific Quick Note in the finished note screen by clicking Change Note Title.    Screenshot for Quick Note   ICANotes users utilizing the New Calendar will have quick access to the note by clicking New Note > More Note Types then selecting the Quick Note.   Screenshot for Quick Note   A Face to Face Encounter checkbox has been added to the work areas of the Quick Note. When checked, the note will be considered when searching in reports for notes by last exam date (such as in the Clinical/Demographic report). Leaving the checkbox unchecked will exclude it from any query for notes by last exam date. When a Clinical Note Without Encounter is created from the iPrescribe or lab result workflows, the Face to Face Encounter checkbox will be unchecked by default.      Screenshot for Quick Note     For any questions or additional information about the Quick Note, please reach out to ICANotes Support via phone (443-569-8778), chat (www.icanotes.com) or email (ticket@icanotes.com).
