We've created a group rule, "Read Only Time Spent with Patient". When enabled, the Time Spent fields within the work areas of a note will be read/display only and the "edit" button will be hidden from view. The "Time Spent" button in the Service Code popover will also be hidden from view. Instead, the note owner/provider can use the Start and End time fields accordingly to populate Length of Session. Entering start hour, start minute, end hour, end minute will populate a Face to Face Time with Patient and/or Family & Coordinating Care minute value automatically.
Security Administrators can reach out to ICANotes Support to requesting enabling the rule.

Here, the Length of Session field is static and does not dropdown to offer a range of times. Likewise, the Edit button has been removed.
Entering the Start hour/minute and End hour/minute will automatically populate the Length of Session accordingly:
Likewise, when the Read Only Time Spent With Pt group rule is enabled, the Time Spent button will not be visible in the Service Code popover.
