The clipboard method outlined below is the only supported method for copying and pasting text using ICANotes.
1. Click the dropdown arrow in the top-middle of the browser window.
2. Click the
icon.
3. This window will popup.
4. The
in the top left of the popup window will move the window around your screen.
5. If you want to copy from one field to another, highlight the text you want to copy, and within the clipboard popup window, click the
dropdown menu. Select Ctrl-C to copy the text.
If you want to copy text from outside of ICANotes, highlight the text you want to copy externally, and within the clipboard popup window, right click and press the 'Paste' option. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut, which is Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows or Command+V on Mac.
6. The text will go in the clipboard popup window.
7. You can then paste the text into a field by positioning your cursor into the field where you want the copied text. Then press the
button in the clipboard popup window to insert the text.
8. After you use the paste function, press the
button to clear the information from the popup clipboard window.
9. To close the popup window, press the
button.
