ICANotes+ offers the following reports:
Once logged on to ICANotes+, click the Reports option from the left sidebar as shown in the screen below.
The Reports screen appears as shown below:
In the Report Type dropdown, you can select the desired report type. Each report type has its own unique set of filters.
The Appointment Report allows you to filter the report by:
Patient
Start/End Date
Site
Clinician
Appointment Type
Upon filtering, your results will display on the right. The appointment report displays Type, Duration, Status, Location, Clinician, Client, and Appointment Date.
You can export these results to a CSV file, Excel, or PDF using the buttons available on the screen.
The Denials Report is designed for individuals responsible for processing denied claims. This report enables users to view all denied claims in detail, allowing for efficient follow-up, corrections, and rebilling processes.
The report is organized into three main sections:
This report helps streamline the denial management process, making it easier to identify, correct, and rebill denied claims efficiently.
To access the Denials report, select the Reports option from the left sidebar, then select the Denials Report option from the Report dropdown menu as shown below:
By default, the report displays data for the most recent week. However, you can adjust the start and end dates to generate the report for a specific period.
You can filter the report using the following options:
Payer: Select the payer for which you want to generate the Denials Report.
Client: Select the client for which you want to generate the Denials Report.
Reason Code: Select the reason code to filter the report.
Insurance Balance Greater Than: Use this filter to view only claims with an insurance balance greater than a specified amount. For example, if you want to see details for claims with an insurance balance of over $100, enter 100 in this field.
Upon landing on the page, you will see the ERA/Manual Posting and Claim details displayed. To view the Claim Service Line details, scroll to the right, as shown in the screenshot below.
When you generate the report or export data to Excel/CSV format, the following details will appear on the report.
The Denials Report features an enhanced user interface that includes the following key functionalities:
The Payments/Adjustment Report has been upgraded with an improved user interface and better performance. The new look includes the following features:
The Payments/Adjustments Report enables the users to generate a detailed report of client and insurance payments and adjustments. This detailed report aids in conducting thorough investigations of any discrepancies, ensuring accurate recording of all received payments to respective accounts, and verifying the completion of necessary adjustments. Additionally, it facilitates efficient follow-up on account balances and enables necessary adjustments to be made.
From the left sidebar, select the Reports option. In the Report Type dropdown, select the Payments/Adjustments Report option.
When you generate the report or export data to Excel/CSV format, the following details will appear on the report.

Only authorized users can access the reports. In Roles & Permissions, when you create or update a role, you can assign permission to access the reports.
When you expand the Reports permission, you can see the following options as shown in the screen below:
To grant access to users with this role for specific reports, you need to check the box next to the report name.
