Running the Productivity Report (columns)

  • Sections
    • Enter a range of dates.
    • Enter Patient(s). Leave blank for all patients.
  • Enter the Site/Location(s). Leave blank for all sites/locations.
  • Enter Provider(s). Leave blank for all providers.
    • Enter the Diagnosis Code(s). Leave blank for all codes.
    • Enter the Billing / Service Code(s). Leave blank for all billing/service codes.
    • Note Search Options button (select all that apply).
    • Ebilling / Insurance Options button (select all that apply).
  • Click the 'Old Search Style' button if you want to use the old Billing/Productivity Report Search Form.
    • You can choose a Default Billing Report type to be used each time the Billing/Productivity Report is run.
    • Click the 'Productivity Report (columns) button to run the report.
      • The generated report will look similar to this.
    • This box shows how many encounters were found within the filters chosen. In this example, Four encounters were found.
    • In this window the note text is shown. The scroll bar can be used to see the entire note.
  • Click the 'Print Note' button to print the entire note.
  • Click the 'Sign Note' button to electronically sign the note.
    • The 'Edit Demographics' button will bring you to the demographic page of your patient. You can make adjustments to information if you would like.       Click the 'Continue' button to return to the report.
    • The BP - Work Areas window will popup when the the 'Edit Work Area' button is clicked. Click the Continue button to return to the report.
    • The 'Preview Finished Note' button bring you to the Compiled Note screen.
    • Click the 'Chart' button to go to the Chart Face.
  • Click the '$ Account' button to go to Patient Accounts.  Click the 'Back' button to return to the Billing/Productivity Report.
    • Click the 'Print These Notes' button to print all notes listed.
    • Click the 'Print This Report' button to print the generated report.
  • Click the 'Export This Report' button if you want to export the report to the Upload Site for downloading. You are able to use filter options to show          only the information you would like to include.
  • A chart Flag will populate in yellow, a Chart Flag set as Priority will populate in red.
    • Click the 'Find Within These Notes' button to open a popup box for Word Search. Type in the word or phrase you want to search for and click the OK button to search.
    • You are able to see the insurance coverage by clicking on the 'C' button.
    • You can change the Provider.
    • By clicking the Note Date field, you can select a new date of note.
  • Click within the Site field to change the site/location.
  • Bill Under Supervisor field can be used as necessary.
    • Diagnoses can be added or edited in this area.
    • Start/End times can be added. Length of session can be set. Managed Care Authorization number can be selected from the dropdown.
    • Code(s) can be added or adjusted in this area. You can also indicate that this note is a consult if necessary.
    • NPI/Tax ID - this is used to change the NPI and/or Tax ID for this claim.  24j (Shaded) areas can be used to select from a dropdown box) or free text in a taxonomy number.
  • Click the 'Internal Message' button to create an internal message with the text only or complete note included with a link to the patient.
    • Click the 'Continue' button to return to the Productivity Report.

1.  Click on the 'Reports' dropdown menu and select Billing/Productivity Report.

2.  The red boxed area contains filters that can be used to narrow down results on the report.  The blue boxed area (Report Summary) shows the parameters for the report.

A.  Enter a range of dates.

G.  Note Search Options button (select all that apply).

J.  You can choose a Default Billing Report type to be used each time the Billing/Productivity Report is run. 

K.  Click the 'Productivity Report (columns) button to run the report. 

Note:  If you want to clear the filters, use the Clear buttons on the right side of the window.  If you want to clear all filters, you can click the 'Clear All Filters' button.

3.  The generated report will look similar to this.

Please note: Any changes made here will not populate in the Compiled Note. The Note will need to be re-compiled once changes are made.
