On the Upload Site, there is a new tab Reconcile Messages. Reconcile Messages is linked to Kno2. A user with group or security administrative privileges is able to assign a patient in the Upload site after it was not identified as the correct patient in Kno2. Let's see how this works.
1. In Kno2, this patient is being sent a document that has an incorrect spelling of his last name. Because the last name is spelled differently than the patient we have in ICANotes, this document will not auto-assign to the correct patient but will go to the Reconcile Messages tab.
2. On the Upload site, (A) click on Reconcile Messages and you will see a list of unmatched patients.
(B) Click on the unmatched message that you would like to reconcile.
(C) Information about the message is shown.
3. On the far right, search for the patient. In this demonstration, the first name is searched.
4. The Upload Site will search for any patients that have tyler in the name and will give a checkmark for any matching criteria in the Selected Message.
5. After looking at all of the potential matches, this patient appears to have the most matching criteria of the Selected Message. Click the button.
6. You will see a toast in the bottom right confirming that the message was successfully matched to the patient.
7. The file will go to the Miscellaneous category for the patient.
8. If I want to change the category, description or visibility, click on the edit icon and make changes to the file.
