1. Start a Group Therapy Note. For more information on how to begin a Group Therapy Note, please see our How to Create a Group Therapy Note Knowledge Base Article.
2. Then on Step #5, click the first option.
You will be directed to the following window where you can select start and end times, length of session, CPT code, and indicate if the session was conducted via Telehealth. Click 'Continue' in the upper-right corner.
3. This will generate the notes and pause on each one so you can link to the Treatment Plan. Simply click the 'Link to Treatment Plan' button.
4. Complete the area by selecting the treatment plan (A), problem (B), progress (C), and plan for the patient (D). Once finished, click the 'Back' button (E).
Note: when you select the problem, it will take you to the following window where you can link the intervention(s).
5. When you return to each Group Therapy Progress Note, click 'Compile & eSign' in the lower-right.
6. When you are done, it will bring you back to the Therapy Group window. You can see that your notes are finished and signed.
7. If you go to a Compiled Note, you will see the linked treatment plan in the note.
An alternative to this workflow is to use the secondbutton. Then you can click the [Work Areas] on each note in that last column to link to the treatment plan and Re-Compile & eSign. Either way is your choice but the first process would be most conducive to your workflow if you are wanting to complete all your notes right then.
