New Chart Room

ICANotes is pleased to introduce an updated Chart Room designed to improve efficiency in the user experience. Security Administrators should contact ICANotes Support via phone or email to inquire about enabling the New Chart Room for their account.        Action buttons for accessing the Message Center, Calendar and Patient Accounts, Therapy Groups and the MAR for inpatient facilities, have been relocated to the left-side of the Chart Room. Settings and Directories has been renamed to Settings, can can be found at the bottom of the left hand navigation menu.     From this menu you can navigate to:
  • Message Center
  • Calendar
  • Quick Calendar
  • Patient Accounts
  • Therapy Groups
  • MAR (Inpatient)
  • MAR Schedule (Inpatient)
  • Contact Us
  • Settings - Settings & Directories
  Notices for unread messages, pending prescriptions and pharmacy messages, portal updates, and access points to Telehealth and institutional billing (EOC/UB04), are displayed in the new Alerts/Reminders section on the right side of the New Chart Room.     In this area you will find:
  • Bulletin Board - ICANotes notifications pertaining to maintenance and system updates, upcoming webinars, known issues, and more
  • Records Requests - via the Portal
  • Internal Messages
  • Patient Messages - sent via the Patient Portal
  • Pending e-Rx's - for e-prescribing providers
  • Pharmacy Messages - for e-prescribing providers
  • Portal Updates - Patient Portal Reconciliation (of Demographics)
  • Portal Reminder Service - A report of outgoing appointment reminders and patient response statuses
  • Start Telehealth Session
  • EOC/UB04 - for inpatient facilities
  Some buttons, such as Unread Internal and Patient Messages, will be highlighted in yellow when new items are available for review.   Searching for patient/client charts is just as easy as ever, with an improved search field that clearly states acceptable search criteria for locating charts.     Use the Show Charts filter next to your Working At location in order to show charts for All Sites or from the Working At Site Only.     Set your Working At location by clicking into the dropdown field underneath your name and making a selection.   You may revert back to the 'Classic' Chart Room at any time by clicking the button located at the bottom center.
