Sometimes, Google Calendar updates its permission settings for third-party tools like the ICANotes+ calendar. When this happens, ICANotes+ may lose the required permissions to connect with your Google Calendar, causing new appointments or events to stop syncing.
Fortunately, you can follow a few simple steps to restore these permissions.
You must first disconnect your google calendar.
To disconnect your google calendar,
After clicking the Disconnect button, the system will begin removing the sync process. This may take up to 30 minutes.
You must remove all ICANotes+ instances from your Google Calendar.
To delete ICANotes+ instances,
Scroll to Settings for my calendars using the appropriate Google account, and delete all ICANotes+ instances.
If you have multiple Google accounts, ensure you are logged into the correct one.
To confirm that ICANotes+ instances have been removed, go to your Google Calendar and check the "My calendars" section to ensure that no ICANotes+ instances remain.
If you have synced and unsynced your calendar with ICANotes+ multiple times, you may notice several 'ICANotes+' calendars listed in Google Calendar.
You can unsubscribe from any unused 'ICANotes+' calendars. In Google Calendar, go to Settings, scroll to Settings for my calendars using the correct Google account, and unsubscribe from all instances of ICANotes+.
We recommend double-checking which calendars are actively synced to avoid accidentally unsubscribing from them.
