How to Add Consent to Download Patient Medication History

Overview 

This knowledge base article guides you to record consent from the clients to download their medication history.

 

Setting for Consent to Download Medication History

You can access any note that allows you to prescribe medications for the clients. In this example, let's access the client's Progress Note. In the Medications section, click the Enter button as shown below:

 

 

 

The Medication List tab appears. Click the Manage Medications button.

 

 

 

On the Manage Medication List tab, click the following icon as shown in the screen below. It appears on the top right side of the screen.

 

 

 

 

The Client's Settings screen appears. Select the Consent to download medication history checkbox.

 

 

 

 

Upon selecting the checkbox and clicking Save, you will see a success message as shown below.

 

 

 

When you access the Client's Settings screen again, you will see the date and time when consent has been obtained from the client.

 

 

 

On the Manage Medication List tab, you can now see an option to download the drug history. Click the Download Drug History button as shown in the screen below to download the client's medication history.
