Group Rule: Verify Clinician is Assigned (New Calendar)
This knowledge base article will demonstrate the group rule Verify Clinician is Assigned. This group rule will limit patient appointments to only providers that are on the patient's assigned providers field in Demographics. To have this group rule activated, a Security Administrator needs to contact ICANotes Customer Support Team.
1. As seen in the screenshot above, Beth Smith (fictional patient) is assigned to Joy Zepp only. I am going to try to assign Anna - Clinic to appointment.




2. I receive this message as soon as I select Anna - Clinic's name. If I click the
button, I will be returned to the appointment to choose a clinician assigned to the patient.
3. If I choose the
button, I am able to create the appointment with Anna - Clinic.
4. However, under the patient's Demographics, Anna is now one of the assigned providers.
