Data Export and Demographics Import

1. The current owner of the data will need to run a full Clinical/Demographic Search report for all active, inactive and pending patients. 

Go to the Reports drop-down menu and select Clinical/Demographic Search.

2. On the Clinical/Demographic Search report:

  a. Select the Patient Status and any other identifying fields.

  b. Click Search.

3. Click the Export button.

4. When the Export Settings window open:

  a. Click the Select All button.

  b. Click the Export button.

5. Once finished, the Export File Saved popup window will populate. Click the OK button to clear.

6. Go to the Upload Site.

  a. Click the Exports button.

  b. Click the Excel link to download. 

7. Follow steps 2 through 6 to download the Excel form for the remaining statuses.

8. Once all three statuses (Active, Inactive, and Pending) have been run, combine into one Excel document. The name of this Excel document should be the current owner's name.

9. Upload the file to https://upload.icanotes.com/filedrop. Go to https://upload.icanotes.com/filedrop and log in using your ICANotes username and password. 

10. Click the Choose File button. 

11. Find your Excel file.

  a. Highlight the file by clicking on it. 

  b. Click the Choose button. 

12. Click the Upload button. 

13. You will see the prompt at the bottom of the page indicating the upload was successful.

14. Next, notify ticket@icanotes.com that the file is ready.
