Send Charges to Collections

Administrators and billing staff can now send unpaid charges to collections directly from the client's Account Ledger. This feature streamlines the collections process for overdue charges and enhances visibility into delinquent accounts.

Key Highlights
  1. New option: Send to Collections is available in the Actions dropdown within the Account Ledger panel.
  2. Confirmation modal: A confirmation screen appears, allowing users to complete the process and enter a Notes field (e.g., “Charge unpaid past due date—sent to collections for further action”).
  3. Visual indicators:
    1. A red Account in Collections tag appears at the top of the Account Ledger when one or more charges are in collections.
    2. A collections icon is displayed at the line item level in the Charge column. Hovering over the icon reveals the note entered during the collection process.

This feature ensures timely follow-up on unpaid charges and supports more efficient billing workflows.

To Send Charges to Collections
  1. Navigate to the client’s chart.

  2. Click Account > expand the Account Ledger panel.

  3. Select the applicable charges.

  4. Open the Actions dropdown and select Send to Collections.

  5. In the Charges in Collections screen, enter notes and click Save.

A success message confirms the charges have been sent to collections.

To Remove Charges from Collections
  1. In the Account Ledger, open the Actions dropdown.

  2. Select Remove from Collections.

  3. In the Charges in Collections screen, click Save.

A toast message confirms the charges have been removed from collections.

New Signatures Report

The Signature Report helps clinicians and administrators track the progress of note signing and co-signing workflows. This report offers visibility into signed and co-signed documentation, including who signed, when signatures occurred, and whether co-signature requests have been fulfilled. By leveraging this report, practices can ensure timely completion of documentation, streamline co-signature follow-ups, and support compliance efforts.

This report can be exported in CSV, PDF, or Excel format, similar to other reports. Users must have the appropriate permission to access the Signatures Report.

To access the Signatures Report:
  1. Select More from the left sidebar.
  2. Select Reports.
