Overview 

This KB article includes the new features released in ICANotes+ version v6.1. 

Enhancements to 'Lab Order Requisition' 

 The Lab Order Requisition now includes additional details:

• Phone
• Fax
• Lab Name
• Lab Account Number
• Ordering Provider NPI
• Diagnosis Code and Description 

When printing the requisition, the newly added details can be found on the Lab Order Requisition, as depicted in the screen below. To access the Lab Order Requisition, navigate to the Lab Order and click the Print Requisition button.

Improved Client Portal Experience 

The client portal module has been enhanced with several new features:

• Previously, invitations to log in to the portal expired within 48 hours. This duration has now been extended to 7 days, providing users with ample time to access the portal at their convenience.
• In the Communications tab, you will find new tags including No Portal Access, Pending, Expired, and Accepted. Opening the Client Portal accordion promptly notifies you of the client portal login status.
• When an invitation expires, you can now find the Resend Invite link directly in the Chart Owner box, eliminating the need to click the three dots for additional options to resend the invite.

Navigate to Chart Room > Communications > Client Portal accordion. You can locate the Resend Invite link for the expired invitation as shown in the screen below:

If the invitation to log in to the client portal has not yet been sent, the Chart Owner box will show the No Portal Access tag, as depicted in the screen below.

If the invitation has been sent but the client has not yet accepted it, the Chart Owner box will display the Pending tag, as illustrated in the screen below. Upon clicking three dots, you will see the following options.

• Change Ownership
• Revoke Access

If the invitation has been sent and the client has accepted it, the Chart Owner box will display the Accepted tag, as depicted in the screen below. Upon clicking three dots, you will see the following options.

• Change Ownership
• Revoke Access

If the invitation has been sent and the client has not accepted within 7 days, the Chart Owner box will display the Expired tag, as depicted in the screen below. Upon clicking three dots, you will see the following options.

• Change Ownership
• Resend Invite
• Revoke Access

Permission-Based Access to Reports 

Access to reports is now controlled by roles and permissions. Only authorized users can access the reports.

When adding or updating a role in Roles & Permissions, you will now find a new Reports section where you can grant permission to access each report, as shown in the screen below.
