Overview
This KB article includes the new features released in ICANotes+ version v5.14.
New Roles and Permissions Features
The system has been upgraded to include the latest feature called Roles & Permissions. This feature empowers practice administrators to assign access rights for practice users. They have the capability to grant specific permissions to practice users, enabling them to carry out designated actions. For instance, should practice administrators wish to establish a fresh role and allocate precise permissions like note creation, note deletion, and access to billing reports, they can seamlessly achieve this using the newly introduced feature.
Key Features:
- Role Customization and Permission Assignment: Enjoy the capability to generate new roles and allocate permissions for targeted actions. This empowers you to precisely tailor access levels based on your requirements.
- Role Management Flexibility: Seamlessly modify or remove roles as needed. This ensures that roles stay in sync with evolving responsibilities and needs.
- Multiple Role Assignment: Embrace the convenience of assigning multiple roles to a single subscription or user. This versatility enables comprehensive access coverage without unnecessary complications.

Ability to Move Submitted Encounters to the Billed Tab
In this release, any encounters where the claim was successfully submitted will be moved over to the Billed tab regardless of whether the encounter was manually moved previously or not.
In the previous version, the system did not move an encounter to the billed tab if it was manually moved previously.
