Set Yourself as Principal Clinician

Set Yourself as Principal Clinician

Overview

ICANotes+ allows you to automatically assign yourself as the Principal Clinician when creating a new chart. This eliminates the need to manually select your name each time you create a chart.

Configuring Automatic Assignment to Charts

To enable automatic assignment, go to Personal Preferences > Personal Information > General Information, and check the box labeled Automatically assign me to any chart I create

After selecting the checkbox, click Save.

Automatic Assignment When Creating a Chart

Once the Automatically assign me to any chart I create option is enabled, your name will be automatically populated as the Principal Clinician when you create a chart.

Manual Assignment When Creating a Chart

If the checkbox is unchecked, you will need to manually select the Principal Clinician from the dropdown menu when creating a chart.
