Creating a new chart in the system automatically assigns a Medical Record Number (MRN) to it, providing a unique identifier for each chart to maintain distinct client identities. The MRN field cannot be altered, which supports effective communication and coordination across the practice. This knowledge base article will guide you on how to locate clients using the Medical Record Number (MRN).
Upon creating a chart, you can view the MRN on the Chart Face tab as illustrated below:
To find a client's details, type the Medical Record Number (MRN) into the search bar at the top. The corresponding client details will be displayed, as shown in the screenshot below. Click on the client details to access the chart face.
Additionally, you can search for clients by their MRN in the chart room. Simply enter the MRN and click the magnifier icon as indicated below. This action will take you directly to the selected client's chart.
