From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Settings
Click into the Note Settings section. Here you can modify Note Settings, Note Headings, Note Appearance, and Chief Complaint.
Customize the types of notes regularly used in your practice.
To set your default note type, click into the Default Note dropdown and make a selection.
Individually manage whether each note type is active or disabled using the checkboxes located next to the Status of each note type.
To enable a specific note type again, check the Status checkbox.
Customize note headings for active note types in your practice.
Customize the heading for each of your enabled note types by first making a selection in the Note Type dropdown, then typing the new heading in the Custom Heading field.
Click Save to commit your changes.
Example: Setting a custom heading for the Complete Evaluation note to "Initial Evaluation"
In the section below, your custom note headings will be listed. To remove a custom heading and return the note to its default title, click the trash can icon to the right of the Custom Heading.
You can now use the default title for that particular note, or assign a new custom heading to it.
Create a standard format for your notes for a consistent appearance.
You have full control over the formatting for completed notes, including heading, sub-heading, and paragraph styling options.
Use each dropdown field to set the font, size, alignment, and capitalization styling. As you make your selections, the preview window will display how your notes will appear in ICANotes.
When finished, click Save to commit your changes. All new and existing notes will adhere to the style format set in Note Appearance.
