When you send an invitation to your clients to register for the client portal, the link expires after 7 days if they haven't registered. However, ICANotes+ offers the option to resend the invitation to your clients after the original link has expired.
To resend the invite, go to the client's chart room, select the Communications tab, and expand the Client Portal section.
You'll find the Resend Invite link within the Chart Owner section, as shown in the screenshot below.
Clicking the Resend Invite link will prompt a confirmation message to appear, as shown below:
Once you confirm the resend, your client will receive an automated email like the one depicted in the screenshot below. They'll need to register within 7 days, as the link will expire afterward.
When clients click on the link, they'll be directed to a screen where they can enter their last name, date of birth, and set a password. It's important to ensure that the information entered in the last name and date of birth fields matches the records in ICANotes+ under the client's chart.
After setting the password, they'll see a success message like the one shown below:
Your client can access the portal by inputting valid credentials on the screen displayed below.
After successfully logging into the client portal, clients will encounter the following screen. Clients can then proceed to execute necessary tasks such as accessing documents sent by the practice, submitting appointment requests, checking balances, and more.
If the invitation has been sent and the client has not accepted within 7 days, the Chart Owner box will display the Expired tag, as depicted in the screen below. Upon clicking three dots, you will see the following options.
