How to Print or Download Notes

Overview 

This knowledge base article guides you on printing and downloading the notes in ICANotes+. You can print or download any of the following notes after compiling them.

 

  • Quick Note
  • Case Management
  • Couples/Family Therapy
  • Progress Note
  • SOAP Note
  • Complete Evaluation
  • Discharge Summary
  • Clinical Summary

Note: In this knowledge base article, the Progress Note is considered as an example. Similarly, you can print or download the respective notes.   

 

Compiling a Note 

In order to print or download a note, you must first compile the note.
 
Navigate to the Chart Room and search for the desired client to create a note as shown below:
 
 
 
On the Chart Face tab, you can view all the notes as depicted in the screen below. Select any note, for example, Progress Note.
 
 
 
Record the required details in the note and then click the Compile and Preview tab as shown below:
 
 
After successfully compiling the note, you can see the success message as shown in this screen:
 

 

 

Printing a Note 

After compiling the note, it appears as shown in the screen below. Click the Print button from the top right corner.
 

 

You can preview the note how it will look after printing it. Click the Print button in the following screen.

 

 

You can also save the note to pdf. In the Destination dropdown, select the Save as PDF option and click the Save button as shown below:

 

 

 

Downloading a Note 

After compiling the note, it appears as shown in the screen below. Click the Download button from the top right corner.

 

 

The note will start downloading and will show progress as depicted in the following screen:
 

 

Once the note has been downloaded successfully, you can access the Downloads tab from your system to open it.
