From the client chart face click on the communications tab and you will see the messaging tab in the middle of the page.
Once access to the Portal is established, the Messaging section will change and reflect your client-specific inbox.
Just as you would with email, you can Compose a message to the client/chart owner, which they can read via their Portal login.
All back and forth communication with the client, including notifications of Portal updates (such as when the client updates their insurance or demographic information), will be contained within this client-specific inbox. Only your own messages to/from the client will be visible; all communication between the client and other clinicians in your practice will not be visible.
