Only authorized users can add, edit, or delete treatment plans. This knowledge base article guides you through adding, editing, and deleting treatment plans. You can also restore the treatment plan after deleting it.
When you access the client's chart face, the Treatment Plan tab will appear, as highlighted in the screen below. Within the Treatment Plan tab, you can add, edit, and delete treatment plans.
Note: You can also update the treatment plan progress from this screen. This process is explained in a separate knowledge base article.
Add New Treatment Plan: Click this button to add a new treatment plan.
Edit: Click this button to update the existing treatment plans.
When you add or edit a treatment plan, the following screen will appear, allowing you to add or update the treatment plan title, last done date, and next due date.
Title: Enter the title for the treatment plan, such as "Anxiety Disorder Treatment Plan."
Last Done: Enter the date of the most recent treatment performed on the client.
Next Due: Enter the date when the next treatment is due for the client.
If you need to remove a treatment plan due to incorrect entries, the system allows you to delete it. To do so, click the Delete button, as highlighted in the screen below.
After deleting a treatment plan, you can view all deleted plans by selecting the Show Deleted Treatment Plans checkbox, as shown in the screen below.
When you click on the Delete This Note link, it will prompt a confirmation message as shown below to delete the treatment plan.
On clicking the Delete button, the system will delete the treatment plan with the following message.
After deleting a treatment plan, you still have the option to restore it. To do this, locate the Restore This Note link within the treatment plan on the top right side, as shown below.
When you click on the Restore This Note link, it will prompt a confirmation message as shown below to restore it.
Click the Restore button to recover the treatment plan. Upon clicking the Restore button, the system will restore the treatment plan and display the following message.
Once you restore the treatment plan, you can proceed to record further progress in it.
