Grant User Access to Treatment Plans

Overview  

This Knowledge Base article provides comprehensive guidance on assigning user access to the Treatment Plan feature within the system. It outlines the step-by-step process for granting access and includes screenshots to illustrate how access limitations are displayed to users without the required permissions.

 

By using this guide, administrators can efficiently manage access and ensure that only authorized personnel can handle the Treatment Plan related tasks.

 

 

Grant User Access to Create Treatment Plans 

To grant user access to create treatment plans:

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Treatment Plan tab and select the Create Treatment Plans checkbox.

 

 

 

 

Users without this permission will find the Add New Treatment Plan button disabled on the Treatment Plan screen. 

 

 

 

 

Grant User Access to Edit Treatment Plans  

To grant user access to edit treatment plans:

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Treatment Plan tab and select the Edit Treatment Plans checkbox.

 

 

 

Users without permission to edit the treatment plan cannot see the Edit and Update Progress buttons. They can only view the progress. 


 

 

Grant User Access to View Treatment Plans  

To grant user access to view treatment plans:

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Treatment Plan tab and select the View Treatment Plans checkbox.

 

 

 

Users without permission to view the treatment plan cannot see the Treatment Plan tab.
