Grant User Access to Therapy Group Management

Overview 

This Knowledge Base article provides comprehensive guidance on assigning user access to the Therapy Group feature within the system. It outlines the step-by-step process for granting access and includes screenshots to illustrate how access limitations are displayed to users without the required permissions.

 

By using this guide, administrators can efficiently manage access and ensure that only authorized personnel can handle the Therapy Group related tasks.

 

 

Grant User Access to Create Therapy Groups and Rosters  

To grant user access to create therapy groups and rosters: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Groups and Rosters tab and select the Create Therapy Groups and Rosters checkbox.

 

 

Users without this permission will find the Create Therapy Group button disabled in the following locations: 

 

  • Therapy Group feature on the left sidebar
  • Therapy Groups feature within practice settings

 

Locate the Create Therapy Group button disabled in the Therapy Group feature on the left sidebar

 

 

 

Locate the Create Therapy Group button disabled in the Therapy Groups feature within practice settings

 

 

 

 

Grant User Access to Deactivate Therapy Groups and Delete Group Rosters  

To grant user access to deactivate therapy groups and delete group rosters: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Groups and Rosters tab and select the Deactivate Therapy Groups and Delete Group Rosters checkbox.

 

 

Users lacking this permission will see the buttons to deactivate a therapy group and delete group rosters disabled. 

 

 

 

Grant User Access to Edit Therapy Groups and Rosters  

To grant user access to update therapy groups and rosters: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Groups and Rosters tab and select the Edit Therapy Groups and Rosters checkbox.

 

 

Users lacking this permission will see the buttons to edit the therapy group and delete group rosters disabled. 

 

 

The edit permission for the therapy group will also be unavailable in the Therapy Groups feature on the left sidebar. 

 

 

Grant User Access to View Therapy Groups and Rosters  

To grant user access to view therapy groups and rosters: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Groups and Rosters tab and select the View Therapy Groups and Rosters checkbox.

 

 

Users lacking this permission will not see the Therapy Groups option in the left sidebar and within the practice settings. Refer to the screens below:

 

If users do not have view permission, the Therapy Groups option in the left sidebar will not be visible, as shown in the following screenshot: 

 

 

 

If users lack view permission, the Therapy Groups option within practice settings will not be visible, as shown in the following screenshot: 

 

 

 

Grant User Access to Create Therapy Group Sessions 

To grant user access to create therapy group sessions: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Group Sessions tab and select the Create Therapy Group Sessions checkbox.

 

 

 

Users who do not have this permission cannot access the Create Session button in the Therapy Groups feature on the left sidebar, as it is disabled.

 

 

 

Grant User Access to Edit Therapy Group Sessions 

To grant user access to update therapy group sessions: 

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Therapy Group Sessions tab and select the Edit Therapy Group Sessions checkbox.

 

 

 

Users who do not have this permission cannot edit the session in the Therapy Groups feature on the left sidebar, as it is disabled.
