Grant User Access to Insurance Eligibility Verification

This Knowledge Base article provides comprehensive guidance on assigning user access to the Insurance Eligibility Verification feature within the system. It outlines the step-by-step process for granting access and includes screenshots to illustrate how access limitations are displayed to users without the required permissions.

 

By using this guide, administrators can efficiently manage access and ensure that only authorized personnel can handle insurance eligibility related tasks.

 

 

Grant User Access to Verify Insurance Eligibility 

To grant user access to verify insurance eligibility:

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Eligibility tab and select the Verify Eligibility checkbox.

 

 

 

Users without this permission who attempt to verify eligibility from the Billing tab will see the Check Eligibility button disabled, accompanied by the tooltip displayed below: 



 

 

 

Users without this permission who attempt to verify eligibility from the Calendar section will see the Check Eligibility button disabled, accompanied by the tooltip displayed below: 

  

 

Grant User Access to View Eligibility Response 

To grant user access to view eligibility response:

 

  1. Go to Settings > Practice Settings > Roles & Permissions.
  2. Select the Edit button for the desired role.
  3. On the Update Role screen, expand the Eligibility tab and select the View Eligibility Response checkbox.

 

 

 

Users without this permission who attempt to verify eligibility from the Billing tab will see the Eligibility Response button disabled, accompanied by the tooltip displayed below:
