Configure Default Settings for Diagnosis, Service Codes, Risk Factors, and Medical History in the Compiled Note

This Knowledge Base guide will demonstrate how ICANotes+ users can configure their default note settings in Personal Preferences. This will allow you to choose whether or not to include the Diagnosis, Service Codes, Risk Factors and Medical History by default in your compiled notes.

Navigate to Personal Preferences from the menu in the upper right corner.

Select the Note Settings tab.

Notice the four checkbox options to the right of each note type. Use the checkbox to include the selection in your note by default. In the sample below, I have chosen to include the Diagnosis and Service Codes in all of my notes types by default. I have left Risk Factors and Medical History unchecked, meaning those will not be included in my compiled note by default.

The sample below demonstrates the settings in the Progress Note. My personal preferences now reflect to include the Diagnosis and Service Codes in my note. You can always override the default selection for a specific note simply by changing the selection within the note itself.
